The Basschool CD
Produced and directed by Rich Kowalewski, this CD honors the life and music of Fryderyk Chopin. It is flavored with some Bach and, of course, a Brazilian song, this one by A.C. Jobim. A
ll performances are by Rich and his Basschool students.
A quote from a fan: “Superb arrangements by an excellent musician and dedicated teacher displaying a thorough understanding of Chopin’s music. Rich has made an invaluable contribution to the repertory of the double bass and bass guitar and brought the level of artistry to a new high.”—John Hall, Adjunct Professor, Classical and Jazz Guitar, Oakland University.
